Glass floors, also known as floor glazing or glass tiles, are very much in vogue in modern architecture. They allow light to pass through while guaranteeing a perfect seal between two floors.
Brightness thanks to the glass floor
The glass floor not only brings light into the space below, but also provides additional comfort above. It can be walked on, making it far more pleasant and functional than a wolf-leap grid or a space-occupying mezzanine.

Glass floors are built to be walkable. Not only do they withstand enormous loads, but they are also built to suit their place of use. Glass floors are ideal for outdoor use, whether for the safety of a wolf jump, or for frequent use thanks to a non-slip surface on tempered glass.

When it comes to design, anything is possible with glass floors. Whether it’s blackout glass that lets natural light through, or totally transparent. Glass is often produced with a lacquered edge to conceal the substructure or frame in an aesthetically pleasing way. A real light well, the result is a feeling of extra decoration and luminous space.
